Does Coaching work?
The Institute of Coaching cites that more than 70% of individuals who receive coaching benefited from improved work performance, relationships, and more effective communication skills. The business coaching industry is on track to be worth $15 billion this year, according to IBIS World, as compared to just over $9 billion back in 2009. Now, a coach is one part prestige signifier and one-part self-optimization tool—the goal being to become a better leader, certainly, but also a more empathetic, introspective version of yourself.
