What is Professional Coaching?
Just like an NFL quarterback or major league pitcher benefits from a great coach, business people from engineers to executives are increasingly turning to professional coaching to learn techniques to maximize their business potential and success, while strategically meeting their individual professional goals.
A strong coach can help their client to evaluate and strategize their thinking about key business pillars such as process improvement, creative solutions, communication, and project success. The role of the coach is not to have all the answers or be a subject expert, but to ask the right questions, helping the client select the best options for themselves, their team, and their business.
What are the Types of Coaching?
Productivity People, Inc. goes beyond regular coaching standards to offer four different coaching programs:
What is the Process?
CONFIDENTIAL
We practice confidentiality and do not disclose any information obtained during the coaching sessions without the permission of the client.
INDIVIDUALIZED
You’ll receive a personalized coaching program using proven techniques and methods that produce results.
THE GROW MODEL
The GROW model, developed in the 1980s by Sir John Whitmore and his colleagues at Performance Consultants International, is one of the most widely used coaching frameworks. Our clients have had great success with the GROW model.
Goals – Focus on your aspirations. What do you want to achieve?
Reality – Examine the current obstacles of your situation. Where are you now?
Options – Play to your strengths and resources. What options do you have?
Will – Be accountable for your personal actions. What choices will you make? What is your way forward?

Does Coaching work?

They also reported that 86% of companies feel that they recouped the investment they made into coaching plus more on top. (How Does Coaching Actually Help Leaders?, Forbes, March 28, 2019)
The business coaching industry is on track to be worth $15 billion this year, according to IBIS World, as compared to just over $9 billion back in 2009. Now, a coach is one part prestige signifier and one-part self-optimization tool—the goal being to become a better leader, certainly, but also a more empathetic, introspective version of yourself. (How empathy became the new CEO status symbol, Fast Company, October 23, 2019)
Studies show that coaching is effective at reducing procrastination and facilitating goal attainment and there is a growing body of empirical research that supports the findings that business coaching really does facilitate goal achievement.
